Carl Jung suggested that we all carry what he called a Golden Shadow: a propensity to escape our fears of success by projecting greatness onto others – in other words, idealizing other people rather than taking responsibility for cultivating our own greatness. (For more on this, see my latest blog post: The Celebrity Guide to Your Hopes and Fears.)

This week, consider where your Golden Shadow hangs out:

Who do you most admire?
What qualities attract you to them?
How might you be disowning these qualities in yourself?
